McKenna had a fantastic weekend at the Race 4 Life in New Richmond, WI! She traveled 580 miles to race 40 cars from 11 states, and after missing the transfer into the A-Main by 1 spot the first night, she pulled off a great heat finish with lots of passing points to lock her into the A-Main on the final night! After avoiding multiple crashes she came from 16th to 10th and met her goal of bringing home a top 10! The team is very happy with this finish as there were a lot of big motor cars here with some great drivers behind the wheels! Not only that, but McKenna was blessed to meet an unfathomable amount of unbelievable families and made memories and friendships that will last a lifetime! The next few weeks for the team will be spent preparing for the Tulsa Shootout in late December! Stay tuned!

Today was National Stomp Out Smoking Day and McKenna helped spread the word by helping cut and paste 1200 shoes to hang in her school's lunch room to represent the amount of people who die every day from smoking! This project was done through a group McKenna is a part of at her school called STAND, Students Taking Action Not Drugs.

McKenna's night at Warren County Speedway started off great with a heat race win, but on the start of the feature she made a mistake, causing her to crash and end up on her top. The good thing is she's ok, and the Warren County Speedway Fire and Rescue did a great job making sure of it! McKenna would like to thank all of the fans and people at the track who stopped to make sure she was ok, and for everyone who was there to support her and cheer her on, you guys were unbelievable! McKenna will be back on the track September 28th at Warren County Speedway hoping to come back strong! Stay tuned!

THR had a great weekend this past weekend racing at Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex on Saturday and Stuart International Speedway on Sunday. McKenna led the first 17 laps of the feature at Sweet Springs before falling to 2nd until lap 21 where on a caution, she had complications with her rear tires causing her to fall back to 9th out of 20. Sunday night McKenna led the entire feature and made a small mistake on the last turn causing the 2nd place car to slip underneath of her for an exciting neck and neck dash to the finish. McKenna ended up 2nd, and was honored to get the opportunity to race in the Kylie Hunter memorial race and put on a good show. The team will be taking the weekend off but will be back in action at Warren County Speedway in Indianola, IA on the 14th of September. Stay tuned!
